Korean duo TVXQ has had a busy time in Japan this year. Over the past 3 months, the group has been on tour in Japan, holding 26 shows during this time. While the 1st part of 2012 has seen the group focused on their Japanese career, the duo has revealed that they will be returning to Korea during the second half of the year.
During an interview before there concert in Osaka, the group announced their plans for a Korean comeback in the second half of the year. "We concentrated on working in Japan for the first half of the year, but we believe our Korean fans are also waiting for us. We are planning to return to Korea soon with a new image. We have not set an exact date yet, but we will comeback during a good period of time and achieve good results," they stated.
Their busy touring schedule has made them tired. The group will rest when the concerts are done, regaining energy before working on the Korean comeback.

Tohoshinki's latest Japanese single "Still" has topped the Oricon chart this week. With the latest number one, the group has set several records for the Japanese music chart.
The group has ranked #1 on the Oricon chart 10 times so far. They are the first international group to ever have 10 #1 selling singles in Japan.
The group has also had an impressive 26 singles reach the top 10 of the Oricon charts. They now have more top 10 hits in Japan than any other international artists, beating BoA's previous record of 25 singles.
Tohoshinki's latest single has sold 139,000 in its first week.

Following their successful single "TONE", it has been revealed that the ever popular Tohoshinki will be releasing a brand new Japanese single in a month's time!
According to 10Asia, the single entitled "STILL" will be available in three editions and will hit shelves on March 14th!
The duo's official Japanese website also mentions including an additional song to the upcoming single, titled "One More Thing".

Could TVXQ be reuniting as a 5 member group? According to one Japanese publication, the answer is yes!
It is rumored that the Japanese music company avex is currently working on holding a reunion concert at the Tokyo Dome, bringing together the 5 original members of the group together for the first time since they split in 2009. Ayumi Hamasaki is said to be negotiating on behalf of the current TVXQ duo and JYJ.
While the rumors have excited fans all over the world who have been dreaming of the reunion for years, many people are skeptical of the project being executed do to SM Entertainment's lack of involvement.
"While the reunion of TVXQ is something that many fans are waiting, the small possibility of this actually happening is an indicator of Avex’s desperation," the article stated, citing the company's recent sales slump as a reason for their plans.

While the Korean duo TVXQ is currently on performing across Japan for their "TONE" tour, the group's next Japanese single has been announced.
The new single is currently untitled. However, the songs on the single are tentatively titled "STILL" and "One More Thing".
The single will come in a CD-Only and CD+DVD version. The CD-Only version will include an alternative version of the song "One More Thing" not available on the CD+DVD version. The DVD will include the PV and making of for the song "STILL".
In addition, the limited edition version of the single will include 1 of 6 collectable jacket-sized cards.

TVXQ has been declared as "Artists of the Year" by SBS MTV Best of the best. The boys had won with 26.34% of votes.
The voting was conducted online last year with the participation of 2.4million netizens from worldwide.

SM Entertainment artists dominated the charts this year. The 3 best selling albums of 2011 were from Girls' Generation, Super Junior and TVXQ, all SM Entertainment artists. In total, SM Entertainment had 4 albums in the top 10.

K-pop duo TVXQ, consisting of U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, are currently preparing to kick off their Japanese tour.
Commencing on January 18th at the Yokohoma Arena, the idols' national tour, named "Live Tour 2012: Tone", will continue through March with a total of 24 concerts in 11 cities throughout Japan, including Nagoya, Fukuoka, Nigata, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Fukui and Osaka.
Speaking to the group's great popularity overseas, the tour initially consisted of only 20 concerts. However, two concerts at the Tokyo Dome and two at the Osaka Kyocera Dome were recently added to meet fans' high demands. Event organizers recently estimated that the tour will attract approximately 450,000 attendees.

Arirang made a special among among its viewers and asked foreigner fans which k-pop concerts they would like to have in their countries.

The dream of Latin American fans will finally become true with the visit of JYJ.
It has been confirmed that JYJ will travel to South America to perform on a series of concerts. So far the countries include Peru and Chile, while Brazil is not confirmed yet.
This is the first time a Korean group will make a tour around the region which has caused a lot of expectation from the fans. The visit of JYJ is specially important for local fans since TVXQ was one of the groups that contributed to the expansion of k-pop in Latin America, and right now counts with one of the biggest fan bases.
Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu will perform in Chile on March 9th at the Teatro Caupolican and in Peru on Marh 11th at the Explanada Sur del Estadio Monumental.

JYJ's Woochin talks about his feelings regarding TVXQ.
Yoochun recently participated in a photoshoot for High Cut where showed a clean image presenting his manly and grown up side.
During an interview shared some of his thoughts regarding the band and his current activities.
He mentioned that working as an actor is pretty difficult and that even though he does a good job while practicing being on the set is more complicated and he is still working on it.
About TVXQ he confessed that the current conflict is too complicated to be solved by their will or determination. Over time he hopes that everything will be over.

K-pop is taking over New York City's Time Square. People passing through the iconic area will have a new ad to see. SM Entertainment has bought video ad space in Time Square to promote their artists.
The first ad to run on SM Entertainment's video billboard was for the upcoming SM Town Live in NYC on October 23rd. The advertisement shows short clips from the performers' music video, followed by footage from previous SM Town concerts.
With SNSD's new mini album "The Boys" being released today along with music video, the ad space will now be used to promote the title track. The MV teaser is played with an announcement for their new single showing at the end.
With more of an emphasis being put into their international marketing and sales, the ad space is perfect placement to reach increase the group's exposure to the American market.

TVXQ has released a new album in Japan selling over 100,000 copies in just one day.
SM announced through its official Facebook page the success of TVXQ in Japan with its new album.
"TONE" topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart with 105,484 units sold on its first day and creating the need of a new order of copies.
As well the sales of the "TONE" were much higher than the other albums on the list making it possible for it to get the first place on the weekly chart.
Fans are also able to see a TVXQ train on the JR Yamanote line and a supersized banner at Shinjuku Station Square.
Yunho and Changmin will start the promotions of the album on October 1st at Music Fair, they will also appear on Music Japan and Music Lovers on October 2nd and visit "SMAP X SMAP" on October 4th.
