Rianna Sues Her Former Accountants

According to the Associated Press, Rihanna has sued two of her former accountants as well as Berdon LLP (based in New York, and has accused them of bad bookkeeping, failure to recommend she cut expenses during a 2009 tour that was losing money, tens of millions of dollars in losses and an ongoing audit by the Internal Revenue Service.

Rihanna's Grandmother Passes Away

Rihanna's grandmother, Clara Dolly Braithwaite, has passed away.

Clara Dolly Braithwaite suffered from cancer which ultimately took her life. The singer took to twitter to reveal the sad news, along with honoring her grandmother with photos.

Braithwaite died in NYC, but will be flown home to Barbados for the ceremony.

Our condolences goes out to Rihanna and her family.

Rihanna Shows Off New Tattoo

Rihanna recently went and got herself a new tattoo depicting a falcon. Apparently the tattoo sits on her right ankle and it represents "a light that shines in the darkness", or so the singer wrote on Instagram.

The full message read: "Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep."

This tattoo marks the singer's 17th and it was tattooed at Bang Bang's shop in New York City.

Drake Might Be Charged for Club Fight

Drake was recently involved in an alleged club fight with Chris Brown. The fight might end up causing Drake to be charged with reckless endangerment.

The stories differ, but allegedly Drake had sent a bottle of beer to Brown's table, where he was also seated with Meek Mill. The two declined the bottle and what happened afterwards isn't really clear. The Boom Box states that Brown's chin was split open by a bottle thrown by Drake. Brown might pursue charges against Drake after claiming he "produced physical evidence" which points the finger at Drake.

Brown's attorney also stated that it's quite evident that Brown was the victim in this altercation.

"I believe the police are building a case against Drake and his thugs. Clearly, Drake was the instigator, and there is evidence he threw glassware," said Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos.

The reason for the fight is said to be the two stars' connection to Rihanna, who both have had a relationship with, either personal or professional.

Rihanna Goes Nude for Nude

Rihanna is once again going nude, this time in order to do a photo shoot for the aptly named "Nude" fragrance. There's not a whole lot to say about the photos, other than it was a friend of Rihanna that posted them on twitter. Oh and if you're concerned that she's back to being blonde, fear not as the singer tweeted that she still dons the black hair.

The fragrance is for the ladies and it will be out sometime in 2013.

Complex Music recently ranked the 25 sexiest female musicians under the age of 25. The list consists of Rihanna, Rita Ora, Kimbra, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Jessie J, Taylor Swift, Azealia Banks and quite surprisingly, Wonder Girls' own Yubin! In addition to being the only Korean artist that has ranked on the list, Yubin was also the only Asian one.

Nominations for the 2012 Billboard Awards are Out!

The nominees for the 2012 Billboard Awards have been revealed, with Adele, LMFAO, and Rihanna being front runners of the race. Adele racked up 18 nominations, LMFAO scored 17, and Rihanna had 13 nods.

The awards show will take place in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand. The live broadcast will air on Sunday May 20 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.

In addition to landing on the cover, Rihanna bares some skin in the photospread in May's Elle magazine.

The pop starlet touches on quite a few topics in the feature. In particular, about her breakup with Chris Brown. She notes, "It gave me guns. I was like, well, f***. They know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. […] Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide.”

Rihanna Announces World Tour in 2013

Rihanna will be heading out on a world tour in 2013, Celebuzz reports. The world tour will be in support of Rihanna's "Talk That Talk" album which was released in November last year.

Apparently Rihanna will make the world tour both "bigger and more impactful" than previous tours. She also revealed that the tour will be a bit different than usual. Although in what way she did not state.

Rihanna also confirmed that a collaboration with BFF Katy Perry is indeed going to happen. Exciting, right?

Rihanna has once again changed her hairstyle and color, this time to a much darker shade. According to celebuzz, the singer tweeted the pictures from instagram with a small message, "Cuz I'm black bitch". Rihanna's Hooks Up With Ashton Kutcher Out In The Open

It would seem that Rihanna and Ashton Kutcher is a bit more than friends since they've been hooking up since December! It was only around two days ago that media got news about Rihanna's late night visits to Kutcher which sparked sources to dish on their relationship.

According to popcrush the two of them met during a party back in December. Apparently they immediately started flirting with each other and it eventually lead to meetings being arranged. Not only that, according to the same source, the two of them even went to a hotel in Santa Monica a couple of weeks ago.

However, it's apparently not anything serious, yet. Sources states that it's probably just a fling although what's going to happen in the future isn't written in stone.

Rihanna paid Ashton Kutcher a late night visit yesterday. According to The Sun, Rihanna was seen outside of Kutcher's L.A mansion (dressed in a pair of denim shorts and polka dot shoes) at around 12 am. The singer then entered the mansion and stayed for a total of four hours before leaving.

Gene Simmons Calls Rihanna's Music Fake Bullsh*t

Gene Simmons didn't hold out on his opinions regarding Rihanna's music during a press conference he was attending regarding Kiss' & Mötley Crüe's upcoming tour.

According to Celebuzz, Simmons said the following: "We’re sick and tired of girls getting up there with dancers and karaoke tapes in back of them. No fake bullsh-t. Leave that to the Rihanna, Shmianna and anyone who ends their name with an 'A'."

Apparently the Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee, agreed with Simmons statement.

However it has come to the point that in every area of the entertainment industry we are experiencing a lack of creativity. In truth we are all just accepting recycled generic lyrics and say it's fine. It's all flash and no content.
  
  I have stopped listening to American music altogether and stick with the stuff coming from overseas. At least with it in a foreign language I can at least enjoy the music without knowing what they are saying.

I don't mean love songs, love is what preoccupies all forms of art, but foreign music tends to be less focused on the hardcore sexed up music and lyrics of the US (and consequently the UK). If there was a song that said 'come here rude boy, can you get it up, come here rude boy is you big enough' it would be banned straight away in K-POP (2PM's had to change the lyrics 'one more shot, let's go' from Hands Up...to 'let's drink water!' or something similar). There are sexual lyrics, but they're related more to love and relationships, and there's rarely the kind of rapping we have in the west. Once you find there's something that offers you slightly more it's very hard to go back and take it all seriously...sometimes I listen to the lyrics of the "music" my housemates listen to and LOL...literally laugh out loud because I'm like 'what...WHAT? That doesn't make any sense...the lyrics are so stupid'
  ...and I like Rihanna's voice, but there's no need to go with flashy lyrics, showy clothes and backup audio. Why not go on concert wearing something that covers your body, why not raise the bar? Have a chair on stage, sit on it, and sing...? I guess this is POP. It's supposed to be stupid.

Rihanna Sells 15 Million Records in the U.K

Rihanna has sold over 15 million records in the U.K, RJRnews reports. The records such as "Loud" and "Talk That Talk" have collectively sold 5 million copies in the last 12 months. Rihanna's debut album, "Music of the Sun", debuted in the U.K seven years ago. The hits didn't stop at that though, the singer had five of her six albums reach multi-platinum statuses over the course of the years. It's without doubt that Rihanna is a force to be reckoned with, even long into her career.

Rihanna Talks About Chris Brown Collaboration

Few have missed that Chris Brown and Rihanna came together for a remix of the latter's "Birthday Cake". What they perhaps didn't know is that it was Rihanna who initiated the contact. According to popcrush, the singer contacted Brown simply because he is "the hottest R&B artist out there".

However, Brown made a counter offer, he would help Rihanna on her remix if she helped him with the remix of "Turn Up the Music". Should we believe Rihanna, the tracks were made in favor of the fans: one remix for Rihanna's fans, one remix for Brown's fans.
