Singapore - August 2012 Nelly Furtado visited Singapore to promote her latest album The Spirit Indestructible. "The albums are always a reflection of what I'm going through in my life", Furtado confessed. She also admitted that she took time off before recording said album.
Furtado stressed that her song, I'm Like A Bird, still has special place in her heart. Not surprising as it was the first big hit in her career. She even stated what she wants for her music; that one day, a kid will be shopping in an antique or vintage store and find her old CDs or vinyls, take the music home and listen to the songs, which then will inspire them to make their own.
Nelly Furtado's forthcoming album will be released in September 2012.
