Lady Gaga Graces Cover Of BAZAAR

The cover of the October 2011 issue BAZAAR magazine features one of the face of one of the world's most iconic stars: Lady Gaga.

The cover features Lady Gaga's face in its natural state. No make up was worn for the shoot, giving the cover a natural look. However, Gaga doesn't see things the same way.

"I don't really view it as 'natural,'. I think that artifice is the new reality. It's more about just being honest and sincere to the core of what you do. Whether I'm wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I'm always the same person inside," Gaga says in her magazine interview.

The simple cover may come as a surprise for fans used to seeing the star make bold fashion statements, but Gaga tries not to focus on what people expect from her.

"I think what has been lovely about my relationship with the public is that they expect something unexpected from me," she stated.

Gaga's black and white cover is the first black and white cover used by the magazine in 20 years.

2011 MTV VMA Winners

Besides the great stages presented on the VMAs like the ones of Lady Gaga and Adele a few more things were the most important during the ceremony and those were the awards.

Fans did not only want to see their favorite artists on the stage singing and dancing but also receiving a recognition for their hard work.

Pop icon Lady Gaga kicked off the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards with a bang! She stepped onto the stage opening the show posing as her alter ego, Joe Calderone (remember 'him'?)

Lady Gaga, or Joe, took to the piano and performed a jazzier rendition of "You & I"; check it out!

Gary Barlow Is Sick Of Adele And Lady Gaga

Gary Barlow is the new head judge on Britain's hit show X Factor. As the head judge, Barlow wants to ban Adele and Lady Gaga songs from the show.

The Take That member explained that too many contestants sing covers of their songs and he's sick of it.

"This year has been all Adele, we’re sick of Adele. She came to one of the Wembley shows and I said to her, 'I’ve got to be honest – I’m really sick of your album because it’s all that’s been played at X Factor'. Lady Gaga...we’ve really had enough of those two," Barlow stated.

When asked if he watched the new seasons' premiere, Barlow revealed he was out partying instead.

Barlow also revealed that the show's boot camp has been changed this year and that viewers are in for a shock.

Man Names Children after Will.i.am and Lady Gaga

A man in Northumberland, England has decided to name his newborn son Tommy Will.i.am, after the Black Eyed Peas vocalist and composer.

The Daily Mirror reported that the man, Ian Clark (36), already named one of his daughters Maggie Maisie Lady Gaga and decided to give his son a “unique” name also. A little confused? The names were apparently chosen by the family’s four-year-old daughter, Maddie.

The mother of the children said:

This is certainly not the first time parents have given their little ones names inspired by pop culture. Earlier this year an Egyptian man named his daughter Facebook to mark the social network’s impact in his country’s revolution. They will join the likes of little Talulah Does The Hula From Hawaii and 'My Names Shaniqua and what?' Miller.

Lady Gaga and Beyoncé Among Forbes' 2011 Most Powerful Women

Forbes has released its annual 100 Most Powerful Women list.

Pop culture icons like Lady Gaga (#11) and Beyoncé (#18) are ranked alongside influential politicians and CEOs.

Coming in first is Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, followed by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Third is Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff.

Other celebrities on the list include: Oprah Winfrey (#14), Angelina Jolie (#29), Ellen DeGeneres (#55), and Gisele Bundchen (#60).

J.K Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books, is at #61; while Vogue editor Anna Wintour is at #69.

Lady Gaga To Make Star Appearance on "The Simpsons"

Broadway.com confirms that the one and only Lady Gaga will be making an appearance on long-running TV show, "The Simpsons", despite her busy schedule.

According to the actress who voices Lisa Simpson, Yeardley Smith, Lady Gaga will be " playing herself, and [The Simpsons writers] describe her as the happiest, most optimistic person in the world. She comes to Springfield to try to cheer up Lisa, but she can't."

The episode featuring Lady Gaga will air in an upcoming season of the show - its 23rd season, to be precise.

Lady Gaga Is Opening Act for 2011 VMAs

Despite leaking her video online 2 days before premiering it on MTV August 18th, monsters were given a reason to tune in as Lady Gaga teased fans with an upcoming important announcement that would be made. What's the big news? Lady Gaga will be the opening act for the 2011 VMAs!

For the past 2 VMAs, the singer has taken the spotlight. In 2009, she made headlines for her spectacular "Paparazzi" performance and its shocking, bloody ending. Last year, the singer again made headlines for one of her most iconic fashion moments: the meat dress. This year, Gaga is sure to do something attention grabbing once again.

The VMAs will take place on August 28th at 9pm.

Cher Collaborates With Lady Gaga For New Single

Cher is coming back with a new album. The lead single from the new album has been announced to be the track "The Greatest Thing". The single is a collaborative song with Lady Gaga and will be released sometime in September.

The track is described to be a mid-tempo ballad originally written by Gaga and RedOne.

Cher's 26th studio album doesn't have a release date.

Lady Gaga Joins Performer's List for 2011 MTV VMAs

You won't want to miss out on this year's MTV Video Music Awards, as it is shaping out to be quite an event!

Lady Gaga joins the already star-studded performer's list that are scheduled to perform at the 2011 MTV VMAs! Other performers that are confirmed to perform include Adele, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, and Young the Giant.

The VMAs will air from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles live on Sunday, August 28, at 9 :00 PM (Eastern time). Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming days!

Gaga was recently spotted at a Britney Spears concert in Atlantic City. The singer gave Gaga a shout out, blowing a kiss to her from the stage. Fans were surprised to find out she was in the crowd.

According to MTV, the reason Gaga was in the crowd was because the two had met backstage before the show. They sat around for an hour talking to each other and reportedly agreed to work on a collaborative track between the two.

It is also rumored that Gaga will join Britney onstage in October during her Femme Fatale concert.

Lady Gaga Announces "You & I" MV Premiere

Lady Gaga's latest single has been announced to be "You & I". A music video was shot for the single and its release date has been revealed.

Monsters will have to wait until Thursday, August 18th for the music video's release. The MV will premiere on MTV at 7:50 p.m. EST.

Lady Gaga's Grandmother Reveals Gaga Doesn't Always Dress Gaga

Lady Gaga's grandmother Angelin Germanotta has opened up about her granddaughter for Life & Style magazine. Angelin has expressed her love for granddaughter and her music. The 80 year old is a monster.

Angelin also revealed that she is blind and can't really enjoy Gaga's crazy clothing. When at home with her family though, Gaga dresses ordinary.

"She wears jeans and just ordinary clothes with the family. She was a straight-A student, did all of her homework and went to Mass!" she said.

Gaga's grandmother doesn't mind all the reports of her granddaughter's sexy and crazy outfits because she can't see them.

Lady Gaga Would Have Been Kicked Off American Idol

Kelly Clarkson. Jennifer Hudson. Carrie Underwood. Some of today's bigget stars got their start on American Idol. But Simon Cowell says Lady Gaga would have never gained fame through the reality competition.

Simon Cowell explained that the superstar's crazy outifts would have got her kicked out of auditions in a heartbeat. "She would have been thrown out within 10 seconds... It would have been one of the kooky auditions," Simon told Life & Style magazine.

Simon admits that Gaga has changed his perception on the audition process. "Now you have to be more open-minded and embrace that level of expression. You hope to God you can find someone like her," he stated.

Lady Gaga Enjoys Britney Spears' Concert

Britney is currently traveling around America with her Femme Fatale tour and Lady Gaga was part pf the audience during the concert in New Jersey.

Britney told the audience about the presence of Lady Gaga, who was sitting on the VIP section making the fans pretty excited for the double treat.

The fans present even chanted Gaga's name during one of the breaks and some lucky ones even got autographs that night.

Lady Gaga Sued For Plagarizing "Judas"

Lady Gaga has been hit with another lawsuit over copyright infringement. This time singer Rebecca Francescatti has claimed that Gaga's "Judas" copied her 1999 song "Juda".

Rebecca points out that her former bass player Brian Gaynor works for the same music company that made Gaga's latest album "Born This Way" which features the song "Judas".

"Though the songs are different styles, the composition is the same and the chorus is the same melody... [Rebecca] is seeking recognition for what she created," the singer's lawyer told TMZ.

  RomanticRoulette 2 years ago You know, I was one of those people that could hear some similarities between "Born This Way" and Madonna's "Express Your Self." Not like the entire song, but there are some parts in the chorus melody that's similar.
  
  But this lady is just trying get some money. I don't see how it sounds anything like "Judas." Unless it's referring to the parts where Lady Gaga is like "JUDA-JUDAAAUHUHS" or whatever, which, even then is stretching it for me. They don't sound a like at all -__-
