LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" has once again become the best selling track of the week, topping the Billboard Hot 100. This of course means Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night"is spending another week at number 2.
While sales for Katy Perry's latest single may be dropping, a new remix version of the song featuring Missy Elliot has been released. Sales from the remix may be enough to give Katy her 5th number 1 from her "Teenage Dream" album, tying Michael Jackson's current record of 5 number ones from his "Bad" album.
The top 10 singles for the week of August 20th were:
1. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem feat. Lauren Bennett & GoonRock
2. Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)
3. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass
4. Pitbull - Give Me Everything feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer
5. Bad Meets Evil - Lighters feat. Bruno Mars
6. Lil Wayne - How To Love
7. Britney Spears - I Wanna Go
8. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger feat. Christina Auguilera
9. Adele - Rolling In The Deep
10. Hot Chelle Rae - Tonight Tonight

Missy Elliot remixes Katy Perry's latest chart-topper, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)".
Katy Perry tweeted to let fans know of the remix, writing, "Yo peeps! Wanna get ur freak on and do it alllll again? @MissyElliott makes "Last Friday Night" supa dupa fly"
Missy Elliot has been mostly MIA for a while now, surprises fans with the remix. The rapper revealed back in June that she has been battling with Graves disease, an autoimmune disease that causes over-activity of the thyroid gland.

The 2011 Teen Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles, California just hours ago, and it was certainly a star studded event.
Other than awards handed out for music, there were categories for movies up for grabs as well. Ashton Kutcher won the Choice Movie Actor in a Romantic Comedy for his role in "No Strings Attached".
The goofball decides to change things up a little for his acceptance speech... by breaking out in song to Katy Perry's chart-topper, "Teenage Dream". However, his moment was cut short because of time constraints.
What do you think of Ashton's rendition?

Katy Perry's August 5th concert in Los Angeles was filled with surprises covers. The singer performed Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance"and a mashup of Rihanna's "Only Girl", Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" and Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'". The biggest surprise cover was internet sensation Rebecca Black and her infamous song "Friday".
Even more surprising than the cover was the fact that Katy brought Rebecca on stage with her to sing an acoustic duet version of the song together. Although they shared the same stage, Katy clearly overshadowed the teen with her vocals, look and stage presence.
This is the 2nd time Katy has used Rebecca as a cameo. The internet star was also given a small part in Katy's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" music video.

LMFAO can party hard in celebration of their single "Party Rock Anthem" spending its 5th week on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. While LMFAO enjoys the top of the charts, Katy Perry is fighting to reach number 1 as well.
Katy Perry's latest single "This Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" stays at number 2 on the Hot 100 despite topping the pop chart. With 4 number singles from her "Teenage Dream" album, if the single reaches number 1 she will be the 2nd artist to have 5 number 1 singles off of a single album. The first was Michael Jackson with his best-selling album "Bad".
Britney Spears' latest single "I Wanna Go" made it into the top 10 this week. This is the 1st time the artist has had 3 top 10 singles off of a single album.

These celebs just will not perform in anything else but near "nudity" clothes onstage, leaving their fans up to their imagination.
Can you guess who are some of these singers?! Happy viewing!

Katy Perry's third album continues to climb as her latest single, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)", became the album's fifth single to top the Billboard's pop songs chart, according to Reuters. This marks the first time an album has made such a feat since the chart was created.
Should Perry's latest single make its way to the Hot 100 later this week, "Teenage Dream" will be one of the few albums to make five separate number one hits. The other artist to achieve this feat was Michael Jackson with his 1987 album "Bad", released just before Billboard began the pop song chart.
Before "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" was released, Perry's latest album tied with Justin Timberlake's 2006 album "FutureSex/LoveSounds"and Lady Gaga's 2009 album "The Fame" for most singles from an album to reach the top.
This will also mark Perry's seventh hit single since her debut, tying her with Lady Gaga for the title of Second-Most-Number-One-Hits. Rihanna currently hold the title with eight.

With MTV celebrating its 30th anniversary on August 1st, Billboard polled its readers on which music videos were the best of the 80s, 90s and 00s. Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video took the top spot of the 80s, Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" topped the 90s list and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" came out on top of the 00s.

After just days with a blonde hair hue, Katy Perry stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday debuting fresh pink locks.
The “T.G.I.F” singer originally sported black hair, red hair in June, and blonde only a few days ago. Could the new pink be sticking around for a while?
On July 25th, the singer tweeted:
I have been dying my hair since 10pm! Good GOD let me get to my destination tonight! #beenblack #beenblue #beenhotginge #beenblonde #now...What do you think Katy's next hair color should be?
