Kamelot to Announce New Singer in June

Kamelot is apparently going to reveal the name of their new singer towards the end of June. The announcement came through Kamelot's own website where they also announced which label their new album will be released through.

Apparently Kamelot has signed a deal with Steamhammer/SPV. This marks the band's third album which will be released through said label. The other two albums were 2005’s "The Black Halo" and 2007’s "Ghost Opera".

Kamelot Updates Fans About New Album

Kamelot has updated their fans of the album creation progress for their upcoming album. The band said on their official website that the compositions is going well and that a studio is booked in Germany. They're expecting the album to be done in September 2012.

Within Temptation to Participate in Metaltown & Masters of Rock

Within Temptation has confirmed that they will take part in two festivals in 2012. The two festivals will take place during the summer and the first one is in Sweden while the other one is in the Czech Republic.

The first festival is 'Metaltown', the festival starts on June 15th to June 16th. Metaltown is taking place in Göteborg, Sweden. Other bands/artists that will be there are: Sabaton, Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and many more.

The second festival WT will guest are 'Masters of Rock' which will start from July 12th to July 15th. The festival will be held at Vizovice. Other bands that are also going to play at 'Masters of Rock' are: Thin Lizzy, Kamelot, Arch Enemy and many more.
