Slash is the 2,473rd person who has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony itself took place in front of the Hard Rock Café on Hollywood Boulevard in L.A. on July 10th. The one who served as "Master of Ceremonies" was no other than Charlie Sheen.
Among the attendees we found Slash's former Guns N’ Roses bandmates, Steven Adler and Gilby Clarke. Of course, Slash's wife was also present along with the couple's children, London and Cash. Additionally, film director Robert Evans and radio icon Jim Ladd said some words about the event.

According to the Associated Press Axl Rose of the hit band, Guns N' Roses, was robbed of nearly $200,000 in jewelry after playing a concert in Paris.
Police have reported that three gold and diamond necklaces were stolen from Guns N' Roses' frontman and that he was "fuming" at a private event after the robbery. Police have started an investigation and it's believed that Rose was not wearing the jewelry during the theft.
Guns N' Roses are on a European tour until July 22nd.

Slash, the former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, told Entertainment Weekly that he has rejected a request from Glee producers to use the band's music in an episode of the series.
His reason: the show is terrible. "Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough... I look at Grease now and think, 'Between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a work of art.'"
While Slash doesn't hold a stance against licensing Guns N' Roses hits, he prefers to lend the music and image to projects he endorses. His image, for example is uses in the video game, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

According to Rolling Stone, Green Day will be inducting Guns N' Roses into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The three boys will be delivering the induction speech at the ceremony held April 14th in Cleveland. Other speakers include Chris Rock who will induct the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chuck D for the Beastie Boys, John Mellencamp for Donovan and ZZ Top for Freddie King.
While the members of Guns N' Roses will be present at the induction, Dizzy Reed told Billboard in February that an official reunion or performance has not been planned.
Green Day will be eligible for the induction into the Rock Hall of Fame in two years.

Can't make it to Guns N' Roses concert in Chicago this Sunday? No need to worry now as the band will be streaming the concert according to Billboard.
Those who want to watch the stream will have to pay a $5 fee, where they'll get access to the stream through the band's website. A portion of the fee will be going to support Feeding America, a hunger relief organization. Guns N' Roses will begin their set at 11pm CT.
Those who watch can expect the $5 to go a long way as the band has been playing long sets on their current tour, playing a two-and-a-half hour gig back in New York last Friday.
Their European tour will begin in May.

According to Billboard, Guns N' Roses will be playing a set of six shows in February, with with intimate shows in New York.
Ticket sales for the New York shows begin on January 31st with presale tickets for the other shows beginning February 1st.

Wow! Guns N’ Roses' Axl Rose made an unruly fan leave the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver last Saturday! According to loudwire, the front man took it in his own hands to call out on the unruly fan while security moved in to remove him from the venue.
Last time Guns N’ Roses were supposed to play in Vancouver, Rose unexpectedly decided to cancel the show, causing a major uproar with the fans. At the end of the Saturday concert, Rose said this, "On behalf of the city, I’d like to thank you for not tearing the place up. I apologize for my part in any past affairs."

According to loudwire, Guns N’ Roses has cancelled their Mississippi concert which was scheduled for today(December 5th). An official statement from DeSoto Civic Center has been released in which they apologize for the unfortunate fact.
This is not the first time GNR has had a concert cancelled during this tour. The other show that was cancelled was the concert in Albany, N.Y. on November 23rd. The tour will resume as usual on December 7th in Youngstown, Ohio and will end on December 31st, 2011 as per schedule.

Guns N' Roses bassist Tommy Stinson says the band hopes to return to the studio to record a new album.

Stinson told the Dallas Observer when asked about the possibilty of a new album:
Guns N’ Roses released their sixth album, 2008’s Chinese Democracy, a full 15 years after their fifth album. Hopefully sooner will come faster than later with this release.

Rolling Stone has reported that Guns N' Roses have defended their actions after Roberto Medina, Rock In Rio's festival organizer, stated that the band showed a lack of commitment by going on stage late at Rio de Janeiro, held in Brazil earlier this month.
The band's publicist told Blabbermouth.net that the delay was due to the festival's "inadequate" production and the downpour. Guns N' Roses' publicist added that the band continued to play in the rain for two-and-a-half hours and would never intentionally disrespect their fans.
This isn't the first time the band has been late to a set. In 2001 the band arrived tow hours late!

Guns N' Roses are slowly, but surely, announcing the dates for their upcoming fall tour. While the band is slated to play in Orlando, Miami and Kansas City, Rolling Stone predicts that a two week gap between two of the concerts may mean that more dates will be added.
With Guns N' Roses performing overseas, it's been since 2006 that they've done a proper U.S. tour. While they haven't performed since their show in Dubai last December, they will be launching a 10-date tour in South America and Mexico in October.
