On February 15th, nude photos of the members of Girls' Generation began spreading around the internet. Despite being photoshopped pictures of the girls, the images have caused a huge stir among netizens.
SM Entertainment, the group's management company, is taking a firm stance against the photoshopped photos. The company has request a criminal investigation be conducted against the creator of the photos and the netizens who spread them.
Girls' Generation went through a similar scandal in 2010. 97 people were found to have created and distributed the photos online. However, because most of the people involved were minors, Sm Entertainment dropped the charges.
