Florence Welch is apparently still living with her mother, despite turning 26 in August this year. According to Crushable.com, the singer likes living at home due to various reasons. One of the reasons are all of the posters, paintings, postcards and clothes which makes her room like a living scrapbook.
However, Welch explained that she wants to move out but she hasn't had the time to look for an appropriate place. Well, who can blame her. It's not everyday you become Grammy nominated or have your songs featured on Glee.

Fans in the United States, rejoice! Florence + the Machine has finally announced tour dates for an upcoming tour across the U.S. this spring!
The tour, which will span across 15 cities, is presented by MSN, and will kick off on April 14th at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, on January 27th, better act fast and snap them up!

According to Gioia magazine, Florence Welch began hanging out with 'bizarre people' after her parents' divorce and began rebelling after learning about it.
"After the divorce of my parents, when I was 14, I started drinking. I was full of anger. I just wanted a normal family and suddenly the family no longer existed," she said.
Welch said that she stopped drinking while taking part in U2's tour in North America in June, noting that her wild ways were affecting her music and she stopped due to the respect for the public and her profession.
"If I didn't have the music I would be totally lost."

The eventful year of 2011 is coming to an end and 2012 awaits us with new albums, new song, new bands...

Every year, Dick Clark hold his New Years Eve special, "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve", which features performances from music's biggest artists. Along with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, several new artists have been added to the show's line up.
The ABC special will now feature performances from Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, Florence + the Machine, the Band Perry, blink-182, OneRepublic, Gym Class Heroes, Taio Cruz, Will.i.am, and Christina Perri.
"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" begins airing December 31st at 8 pm. The show will be hosted by Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest with special cohosts Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

Florence + the Machine, who is known for her haunting voice, covers "Take Care" for BBC 1 Live Lounge. The song is the title track from Drake's hot new album.
Before putting her own spin to "Take Care", Florence mentions that she picked the song because it featured "three of my absolute favorite artists", that is Drake, Rihanna, and Jamie.

Florence + the Machine fans in the United Kingdom, this is the moment you've been waiting for! The band has just announced tour dates for early next year!
Florence + the Machine will be touring with The Horrors as their special guest, while Specter and Theme Park will be the opening acts. Tickets will go for £29.50 for all shows in the UK, and €35/€40 in Dublin.

Florence + the Machine returned to the top of the U.K. charts with their second album, "Ceremonials" according to Billboard. 90,000 copies had been sold.
"Ceremonials" sold 94,000 units last week and goes on to be better than their debut album, "Lungs," which debuted at number two back in July 2009.
Florence + the Machine takes the top spot from Coldplay's new album, "Mylo Xyloto," which fell to number two.

In an effort to promote the sophomore album that is due out in a few weeks, Florence + the Machine will be holding an exclusive album launch show!
The band will play at Hackney Empire, London on October 25th!
Fans, you will want to get your tickets quick as this will be the band's only performance in the UK for the year! Tickets will go on sale on October 14th; details available right here!

On September 12th, Alan Cross revealed that the title of Florence + the Machine's new album would be titled "Ceremonials".
The cover art of the album has now been revealed. The cover shows front woman Florence Welch in a vulnerable pose against the corner of two mirrors, creating the illusion of her leaning against herself.
"Ceremonials" will be released October 31st in the UK and November 1st in the US.

Florence Welch is not only making strides in the music world, she dabbles in the realm of fashion as well.
The red-haired voice of Florence and the Machine is the first non-model in five years to grace the cover of Vogue Japan.
Notable fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld photographs Florence for the October issue, where she sports a colorful Ralph Lauren jacket for a decidedly androgynous look.
Florence and the Machine delighted fans by putting a date on an upcoming (still untitled) album. Expect to see the second album by sometime in November. For now, enjoy her newly released "What The Water Gave Me"!
