  • Donna Summer's Funeral Will Be A Private Affair

    

    The funeral for the late Donna Summer's will apparently be a private affair. Hollywood Reporter states that a representative for the late singer said she will be laid to rest in a private ceremony, not in a public one.

    Summer's publicist, Brian Edwards, said the following:

    "Reports of a public memorial next week in Nashville are not accurate. The services being planned will be private to include only family and close friends. Thank you for continuing to respect the family's privacy during this time."

    There has been no word on the exact time or place for the ceremony.

  • R. Kelly Reveals Track-Listing for "Write Me Back"

    

    R. Kelly has revealed the track-listing for his highly anticipated album "Write Me Back". This is RnB reports that the album in question will hit the stores on June 26th in a standard and deluxe edition.

    The deluxe edition comes with four extra tracks and the physical CD comes with a postcard, which fans can use to write a message to R. Kelly on, and send it back. The pre-ordering of both versions will start on May 29th.

  • Van Halen Postpones Massive Amount of Tour Dates

    

    Van Halen has postponed a massive amount of tour dates. According to UCR, the band has pushed back over 30 tour dates from their 2012 North America tour. There has been no word on why the tour dates were pushed back, nor has it been any word on if the postponed dates will be rescheduled.

    Fans have been showing their disappointment and anger through the internet. Many feel cheated and want their money back. It would be surprising if the band didn't give refunds, especially if they won't reschedule the concerts.

  • Black Sabbath Continues on Without Drummer

    

    Black Sabbath won't be scrapping their reunion plans. According to Rolling Stone, the members of Black Sabbath released a statement consisting of 54 words in response to Bill Ward's 1,504-word letter.

    We have decided not to make any detailed comment on Bill's latest statement. There are two sides to every story. We have been working hard at rehearsals making excellent progress after Tony's treatments and we have engaged a substitute drummer for the forthcoming shows. See you at Download.

    Many fans are probably wondering what will happen now and more importantly, who will replace Ward. Some speculate that former guest drummers will be the best bet. Both Mike Bordin and Vinny Appice have been speculated to replace Ward. The latter stated that no one has contacted him regarding the position. Unfortunately, as of now, no one got a clue who will be the drummer on the band's upcoming gig.

    Black Sabbath will perform at the O2 Academy Birmingham, England this coming Saturday. Due to Tony Iommi's treatment, the band cancelled their summer tour a while back. However, you can still look forward to performances at the Download Festival in Derby, England and one more show on August 3rd at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

  • Donna Summer Dead at 63

    

    Donna Summer has died at the age of 63 from cancer. TMZ reports that some believe it was lung cancer which was caused by the singer breathing in toxic particles after the 9/11 attack in NYC. However, varying reports have come in and even though it's pretty much certain that she died from cancer, there has been no word as to what specific type it was.

    Summer's family released a statement earlier, stating that they're "at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy."
